In 1999, a team of independent ‘indie’ producers auditioned for a film. The story line was about 3 Maryland students who went missing while undertaking a personal project for one of the students. The personal project was a video documentary shot in a small town in search of the truth behind the story of a witch that had once lived in that community. The 3 students would never be found — only the camera footage they had left behind. The film would have just 3 primary actors, the 3 actors would be responsible for shooting most of the footage, the cameras were going to be low quality cameras — shot in black and white for most part and grainy coloured for the best parts.
