Rebirth is not religion. It is self discovery
This is not a call to spirituality as is often asked by Christians. Rather, it is an invitation to open your eyes to see that the day you were born into this world, the world handed you a set of clothes — the ones sewn by your parents from the fabric of society, woven on the looms of the norms and values into which you were brought forth. This cloak is the cloak of civilization and you had to wear it, because in a civilized world, no one could be naked.
Consequently, you grow in these clothes and the clothes grow on you. You find yourself calling yourself a Christian or Muslim or Traditional worshiper having grown up in a home where this was the prevalent belief set. You find your opinions about men, women, success, joy, happiness all taking its source from that of the world around you. Very quickly, this ideological apparel in which you had been adorned since birth begins to look like your very skin … until you start to question.
“Why do I believe these things that I believe?”
