After Open AI launched Chat GPT to the public in 2020, AI (Artificial Intelligence) moved quickly up the leaderboard to join NFT, Crypto, Remote Work, and Metaverse on the list of most used technology buzzwords.
Enthusiasts praised the potential of this simple text-interface program and some took its application a little too far. The general sentiment, however, was less welcoming.
Universities debated how plagiarism will now be defined in a world where artificial intelligence could write entire essays from just a text prompt.
